About Burhanpur

Burhanpur is a small city in Madhya Pradesh. It is located on the banks of Tapti River and is rich with Mughul built monuments. The city is well known for cloth and bananas. The economy of the city is entirely depended on agriculture. Burhanpur is also known for some Bohri Muslim dedicated monuments. Among this is the Dargah-e-Hakimi dedicated to Dawoodi Bohri and is visited by my Bohri community people every year. Burhanpur has the largest Power Loom industry in the state. Besides this industry, there are many textile factories built across. Apart from shrines and other religious locations, there are nothing much to explore.

About Amravati

Amravati is located in the Deccan plateau of Maharashtra, and is the 7th most populated city of the state. The city is rapidly growing in all means and plays a significant part in terms of culture. According to the Hindu mythology, it is believed that Lord Vishnu eloped Goddess Rukhamani in middle of wedding rituals using tunnel that goes through Ambadevi temple, which still exist. Famous literature personalities like Gopal Nilkanth Dandekar, Suresh Bhat and other are from this city.
