About Burhanpur

Burhanpur is a small city in Madhya Pradesh. It is located on the banks of Tapti River and is rich with Mughul built monuments. The city is well known for cloth and bananas. The economy of the city is entirely depended on agriculture. Burhanpur is also known for some Bohri Muslim dedicated monuments. Among this is the Dargah-e-Hakimi dedicated to Dawoodi Bohri and is visited by my Bohri community people every year. Burhanpur has the largest Power Loom industry in the state. Besides this industry, there are many textile factories built across. Apart from shrines and other religious locations, there are nothing much to explore.

About Nanded

Nanded is the holiest city in Maharashtra, for Sikh religion, and is best known for famous Hazur Sahib Gurudwara palace. Nanded is also the holiest city for Hindus because of the famous Renukadevi Shaktipeetha Temple. The city is located on the banks of River Godavari and is the oldest city in Marathawada region of Maharashtra. The major attractions of this city are its shops that have a better assortment of swords and knives which are beautifully decorated with sheaths. Besides being the religious place, Nanded is also the tourist location with having Nanded Fort and Kandhar Fort. Nanded Fort is largely visited fort because it is surrounded by Godavari River in three sides and is beautifully laid by garden. Nanded holds some tourist attractions like: Parli Vaijnath, Narsi Namdev, Basar Temple and Treasure Bazaar Nanded.
