About Hanumangarh

Hanumangarh is a small city in Rajasthan and is situated on the banks of River Ghaggar. The city is called as “The Punjab of Rajasthan” because of high Punjabi population in the town. The city doesn’t offer much interesting location to visit. However, there are few Gurudwaras and temples built in the city. Some of these are Gurudwara Sahib Sukha Singh, Gogameri Temple, Brahamaani Maata Temple and Bhadrakaali Maata Temple. There are also few historical places like Bhatner Fort and Kalibanga. One can also visit Kalibangan Archeological Museum which was established in 1983 and displays the material of excavation done here in 1961 and 1969. Hanumangarh is a pleasant place and is now under rapid development.
