About Karur

Karur is a city located in Tamil Nadu, and is located on the banks of River Amaravathi. It is located 370 kms from capital city Chennai and is known for handloom and powerloom textile industries. Karur is the oldest town in Tamil Nadu and played an important role in culture history for Tamil community. Being ruled under Chera and Chola empires, Karur has many temples which are well sculptured temples. Besides temples, there are mosques like Thowheeth mosque, Big Palli, Bajar Mosque and few others. Karur was also the trading center and many temples where built by different rulers ruled. The city doesn’t have much to offer besides temples. Some of the important attractions are Karur are Kalyana Venkattaramasami Temple, Pasupathieswarar Temple and Sri Mariamman Temple.

About Krishnagiri

Krishnagiri is a municipal district in Tamil Nadu. Located 90km from Bangalore, the town is known for Mango cultivation. In fact, it is the prime cultivation in the town. 20% of mango varieties like Thotapuri and Alphanso are being produced here. There are many industries in this town that concentrates on mango process. Apart from being the mango house, Krishnagiri is also known for having more than 50 temples. Among these are- Subramaniya Swamy Temple, Narasimma Swamy Temple, Sivan Temple and few more. However, Krishnagiri is known for its paddy fields and few other lush green mountains that attracts tourist towards it.
