Karur is a city located in Tamil Nadu, and is located on the banks of River Amaravathi. It is located 370 kms from capital city Chennai and is known for handloom and powerloom textile industries. Karur is the oldest town in Tamil Nadu and played an important role in culture history for Tamil community.
