About Ongole

Ongole is the largest city in Prakasam district, Andhra Pradesh, and is known as the Cattle capital. The city is known for its Ongole breed of Oxen named as Ongolu Gitta. Ongole is also the major center of Tobacco trading in Andhra Pradesh. Like every other city in Andhra Pradesh, Ongole also carries a rich history and was ruled by Satavahanas and Mauryas. There are few ashrams built across the city and the famous one is the Achalananda Ashram to which people visit every year to receive blessings. Some of the major tourist attractions in Ongole are: Chandavaram Excavation Site, Chennakesava Swamy Temple, Voderevu Beach and Kasi Visweswara Swamy Shrine.

About Krishnagiri

Krishnagiri is a municipal district in Tamil Nadu. Located 90km from Bangalore, the town is known for Mango cultivation. In fact, it is the prime cultivation in the town. 20% of mango varieties like Thotapuri and Alphanso are being produced here. There are many industries in this town that concentrates on mango process. Apart from being the mango house, Krishnagiri is also known for having more than 50 temples. Among these are- Subramaniya Swamy Temple, Narasimma Swamy Temple, Sivan Temple and few more. However, Krishnagiri is known for its paddy fields and few other lush green mountains that attracts tourist towards it.
