About Pali

Pali is an old town in Rajasthan. It is known for many old buildings which were built centuries ago and are still in a good condition. In earlier time, this town was under wealthy Brahmins, were called as Paliwals, hence the name Pali. This town is mainly known for three main temples- Ranakpur Jain Temple, Hatundi Rata Mahabir Temple and Surya Narayan Temple. Like other places in Rajasthan, Pali is also known for colorful homes. Some of the interesting places to explore are- Bangur Museum, Lakhotia Garden, Somnath Mandir and Maharana Pratap Smarak. There are many palaces and forts which have been converted into hotels. Some of the palaces turned hotels are: Karni Khot, Rohet Garh, Kotri Raola Pali, Rawla Narlai and Jagram Durg.

About Jalore

Jalore is a city in Rajasthan and is known for forts and monuments. As Rajasthan is known for palaces and forts, Jalore cannot be left behind. Jalore Fort and Topekhana are couple of places to visit. One of the important structures is Topekhana, which is however, not in a good condition. One can also visit heritage haveli by Jagirdar family of Ahore.
