About Pathanamthitta

Pathanamthitta is a small town located in Travancore district of Kerala. This town is famous for the Hindu pilgrimage called Sabarimala is situated here. Aranmula annual boat race which attracts huge number of people takes place here. The town is known for its culture. Padayani one of the major folk is celebrated here.
